How do you have your graphics settings and your verbosity level? Perhaps
moving graphics to read only highlighted from "read all". Also if using a
lower level of verbosity, it might be picking up something that it would ignore
with a higher level of verbosity.

Hi Dave, You can also find a line above the email that says the it is in html
format as well. I guess Jaws is actually reading these lines so it may be
difficult to suppress the message. I will have to do more digging. When I run
a search for the message in the enu folder I get nothing which probably
confirms that jaws is actually reading the information rather than supplying
the message. I will have to capture the output and see if it is in there.

Hello Tom;
I have been trying to figure this out for some time now!
Even though I have my email set to html, Every time I open a message I hear,
The subject, and then, Message plain text.
If you open a message,
Rout jaws to pc,
Go to top of message,
You will see a line with subjectline, and the following, Message (plain text)

Hi, I want to stop jaws from announcing the message type when opening an email
in outlook 2010 but I can't find where this can be done.
Any thoughts?
Thanks
Tom Bisset
