Well I think I personally will stay with 7 a while longer, I stayed with XP
until long after windows Vista came out only got Vista cause it came on a
replacement computer and held onto that until we decided to move to 7 months
after it had been released. I am in no hurry to change again.

I do remember the grief a few people gave me over staying with 98 as long as
I did before I went XP.

That said I jump on updates for Jaws and other programs, guess I want to
keep at least one thing fairly familiar around.

It really works well with a screen reader.

Pressing the windows key will bring up the start screen, if you start
typing you are placed in a search box for apps / programs. Windows plus
W puts you in a search box for settings. Windows plus F puts you in a
search box for files.

Windows plus I gives you the settings by category and windows plus X
gives you additional settings.

Windows plus C brings up the charm bar which I do not use at all.

I have an ultrabook with a solid state drive and it boots in 8 seconds.
