No. In this scenario, it's likely that JAWS probably isn't working as well with earlier
versions of office (which it does not 'support' any more).

I don't use virtual ribbons at all.  I have office 2007, and between
digging around and using the old keystrokes which mostly still work, I
do fine.  Office doesn't generally just quit, either you have something
wrong with your computer's hardware or you have some sort of virus.
