Did you try to open the message and then tab to the link and enter?
Does that work for you?

Rich, another possible solution to activating a link in an E mail and
Outlook express.
Instead of placing the cursor on the first letter of the link, move one
more
character to the right and try entering or clicking on that character to
activate the link.
For some reason, some of us have had to do this to activate a link.

Martha,
Under tools, it looks like my HTML is checked.
Under view, it says HTML is not available.
Please explain?
Any specific recommendations on the settings in tools for HTML would be
greatly appreciated.
There seems to be many option regarding both HTML and plain text.
Thanks.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Links in e mail
Hi all,
I have 14 and XP pro and Outlook Express.
I am not able to click on a link in e mails to send me to that
particular
link.
I also get a message saying no links found on the page.
Even though, When I hit insert F 7, I get a list of links.
Is there a setting I need to adjust?
Thanks.
Rich

Hi Folks,
When I have problems like this, I can usually fix it by maximizing
the entire program window. HTH!
