Dear list members,

I am still experiencing a problem with Jaws 14, including the latest update,
reading html emails in Outlook 2007. When I first open Outlook 2007 Jaws 14
will read html emails fine. I can read the emails and use Jaws quick
navigation keys to navigate the email. However after a few minutes with
Outlook open Jaws 14 stops reading the emails with the virtual jaws cursor
and reports it is using the PC cursor. At that point I cannot use the quick
keys nor read the body of the email correctly. When that happens I need to
close Outlook and reopen it. After reopening it, Jaws 14 may work for a few
minutes and then it reverts to not reading html emails correctly.

I have reported this to Freedom Scientific (FS) and have had telephone
consultations with John Carson to try and identify and solve the problem.
Unfortunately we could not solve it despite John's best efforts.

I heard from Bryan Carver today. He is FS's director of Tech support and a
Jaws user. He says that FS cannot reproduce the problem and that a number
of staff at FS use Jaws 14 with windows 7 with Outlook 2007 all the time and
have had no problems. He said that unless other jaws users can let Fs know
that they are having the same problem as I am and be willing to share their
computer setups with FS then there is nothing further FS can do.

So if anyone is having the problems with Jaws 14 and Outlook 2007 that I am
could you please contact John or Bryan at FS and if possible send them your
computer's set up, i.e. processor, video card, security software in use,
model number, etc. there emails are below. It would probably facilitate
matters if you reference my FS tech support Inquiry Number: 222674.

Thanks very much for any help in this matter. Fs has been very helpful and
responsive but it seems without input from other Jaws users having the same
problem as mine a solution is not in the offering.
