You can still find laptops with Win 7 if you prefer that system. IF you go
Win 8, you'll need Jaws 14. Regular Win 8 will let you use Jaws Standard,
Win 8 Pro requires Jaws pro. I think Jaws is working on gestures which
might be in their next release, so you could take that into consideration if
you buy a laptop that has a monitor that supports that.

List, looking at new laptops. Just wondering if windows 8 versions are
similar to windows 7. I use windows 7 home premium so I can use my Jaws
program with my Jaws license. Does windows 8 have a similar version
scheme
and if so, what is it?
Also, I assume I do not want to be looking at laptops with touch screens

I am a total?
I would also appreciate any other suggestions that might be helpful in
