Hi Gerald,

I don't think Google is changing anything to match any browsers.

The fact is, the page stays the same, and I think it's your settings that have changed.

The first thing I would do is restore my default settings for Internet Explorer and Jaws. You can do this by going into the Internet Options, then doing a control+tab to the advance page, and tabbing to the restore default settings button, and pressing the spacebar. You'll receive some warning about things being reverted back and if you're sure you want to do this, so just press the spacebar on the yes or ok button.

Once you've done that, attempt to go to Google again, and see if the settings have changed.

If they have, then you know something has screwed with your settings, and you have to find out which program did this.

If you aren't able to deduce which program is the culprit, I would run some scans to make sure your computer is completely clean of Malware, Viruses and spyware, then set Internet Explorer and Jaws according to your settings, making sure to do a Google search every so often to see if one of the changes you made changes the Google display in any way.

As for myself, I am using Jaws, version 14, Internet Explorer 8, 9 and 10, on three different computers, an XP computer, a Vista computer, and a Windows 7 computer, respectively, and I can honestly report that I have the same experience on all three computers when I do a Google search. As i said in my previous message, this may be due to the fact that I have signed into my account, and no, this is not a Gmail account, as I use my regular e-mail account to sign into Google, or it may be due to the fact that I have selected Google as my default search provider, but one thing's for sure, something has been knocked out of whack on your computer, and you just have to pinpoint what that something is.

Good luck.

Scorpio
