MSE and super anti spyware will work together as well. If memory serves the rule of thumb is one antivirus along with one anti spyware will work but no other combination is possible or at the very lease advisable.
The fact is the amount of possible combinations is quite staggering with all of the available products on the market. Personally I run MSE along with super antispyware with a good level of success. Windows defender does not appear to run registry scans which Malwarebytes Pro will do. For best protection, I suggest one uses MSE and Malwarebytes pro both running simultaneously. Adding more than one malware utility will not necessarily result in better malware scans and can possibly create conflicts in that the same files will be scanned at the same time. You also don't want to run your processor more or harder than it has to run as you can use some of those processing cycles for other tasks.
