I'm not sure which version we tried, We'll have to go back and look and try
them both.
I assumed the download could work on either.
Plus, I'm not sure which version I have.
Is there a quick way to determine if 32 or 64 bit?

Which virsion of J14 or 13 did you guys try? 32 bit or 64 bit? All PCs you
buy now come with 64 bit. As to your DVD, I can't say since it should
choose
it for you correctly and just run it like you said.

I just received a new computer with Win 7.
I tried to install JAWS by putting the disc in the tray and I got no
response. Usually, it would start running.
My sighted wife could not get the disc to run either.
So, she went on to the Freedom Scientific web page to downloads.
She clicked on 14 demo and it came up JAWS 15 She clicked on it and hit
save
When she tried to run it, a voice came up and said that this program could
not run on this platform and I should contact Freedom Scientific.
She tried twice with the same results.
I also put in JAWS 13 but the disc did not automatically run.
I have not yet paid for the new 15 version, if that matters.
Please help.
