You may be correct, I figure the only method to find out what it is would ve to create a script and assign that key to it. That is the fastest manner I know of to find out what it really does. Possibly it might do nothing without the software installed.

So, when you press the FN + F12 or 12, it let you internally turn on or off the wireless switch internally. I can't remember exactly. If, you turn on your external wireless switch doesn't mean your wireless is going to work, if the internal is shut off. I am sure there is more function with the FN + another key????
