Annette,

Ok, here you go using virtual ribbons:

1.Press Alt key which puts you in the home ribbon
2. cursor down until you here cells
3. Arrow right once
4. arrow down until you here format button dropdown, then hit enter
5.arrow down until you here visibility group box, then arrow right and
select what you want to do.
There are different ways to select what you want to hide or unhide but
I think you'll figure that part out, if not post what you want to do
and we'll answer

Al

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Excel 2010 Hide & unhide columns

Hello All,

I am working in Excel 2010 with JAWS 12 on a Windows7 computer. How
do I
hide and unhide columns from the keyboard? A key combination short
cut or
directions on how to do it from the ribbon would be appreciated. Do I
need
to select the entire column or will it work if all that I have
selected is
the column headers?

Thanks,

Annette
