I have found that in the workplace, users who use the JAWS virtual ribbon put themselves at a disadvantage when they need to get help from co-workers or tech support personnel. Change is difficult no matter who you are. Sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and learn the new things that come with the change.

Just curious Al -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Scott Duck Sent: Monday, December 09, 2013 1:43 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] Excel 2010 Hide & unhide columns Hi Annette, Try this. To hide a column, arrow to the column and press Alt O, followed by C, followed by H. Now, the column will be hidden so you can't select it by arrowing to it so to unhide it, press F5, enter the coordinates of a cell somewhere in the columb, press enter to go there, then press Alt O, followed by C, followed by U. How do I hide and unhide columns from the keyboard? A key combination short cut or directions on how to do it from the ribbon would be appreciated. Do I need to select the entire column or will it work if all that I have selected is the column headers?
