I want to record a cassette onto my computer (have done this with a desktop)using the microphone line (only output line available) put jack into line in on Laptop and hit play and record on Total recorder( no sound) but when I played back recording all I hear is jaws commands. like I said I did this with a desktop and never got jaws output in the recording and did not have two sound cards. What setting do I need to change . It is on software.
