Hi Marek,
Are you using 32 bit version of xp?
If you are running 64 bit, you can only use Brltty with nvda, another
screenreader, but I am sure it will drive your display as brltty
supports alva devices.
I have successfully set up an alva braille terminal on a 64 bit windows7
with nvda, but Jaws can't drive it as it doesn't have driver for 64 bit.
