I don't think it would be difficult to write a working driver for 64 bit
Jaws.
I guess the whole problem in this case is the question of busyness. They
don't want to write new drivers because of two reasons:
1. Freedom may not want to write drivers to displays which are not their
product and seems to be "old".
2. It's just the question of busyness. Every company wants users to
purchase new ones.
In the summer, I plan to write a jaws driver if possible to brltty so
that all known braille displays will work on 64 bit.
The other really annoying thing is when I asked at Fs about how I could
write driver for a certain device, I got no answer at all for my question.
I asked Optelec whether I could get the resources for their windows
drivers for the alva braille terminal in order to compile it for 64 bit,
and they said "they can't help".
