Personally I like the oldest version because the jobs are all saved in a single text file called settings. Just save it out and you can put back all of your jobs quick as pasting the backup of that file in to the directory. Otherwise I never really noticed too much of a difference between the other versions. I['m sure there is but for what I do they didn't matter. FYI they all work on 32 or 64 bit systems.

Syncback became more graphically orientated and inaccessible/unusable with JAWS or any other "screen reader". Now that I'm using Windows 7, I'm curious... is there a JAWS or screen reader friendly backup program that will automate manual backup methods, like Syncback used to do?
