Until I marked to allow remote content my messages from my U.S. office (I am in Brazil) were preceded by a message that the email contained remote content and did I want it? When I checked allow remote messages the pesky notice went away. My assistant sent me an email from her computer, with an attachment - that constituted remote content, I guess. Thunderbird does not seem to have a dictionary of terms used in the program so I just plowed ahead.
