Hi, Possible Problem Resolution: Try typing jaws then enter; if nothing speaks, try insert+Ctrl+j If still nothing, try typing jaws again, & hit enter.
There have been times one of these attempts does resolve the Jaws problem, for me. I'm using a Toshiba laptop with Windows 7 and JAWS 15. Today, I tried turning it on and waited for the Windows sound to come and for JAWS to be announced, but neither happened. I tried doing a hard reset but still the same thing happened. I don't remember doing anything on the laptop before shutting it down last time that would have caused this to happen, but wonder if anyone can suggest some things for me to try.
