Sometimes JAWS will not evoke at startup although it is set up to perform in that manner. On occasion, this happens to me. I have found if I do "Windows, M" and press "J" for JAWS and then "enter", it usually will start. Try that. I hope it does.
If it does not, the much more engaged folk on the list can give other solution suggestions. I tried doing a hard reset but still the same thing happened. I don't remember doing anything on the laptop before shutting it down last time that would have caused this to happen, but wonder if anyone can suggest some things for me to try.
