Hi I appreciate this help as I was getting frustrated that my outlook was not acting like the previous version and I had looked through all the menu's and not found this

The default item you land on is Genral, arrow down once to Mail and tab through to the end and if you check the box to have automatic name checking, when you reply to any messages, it will save in your address book. Composing a new email, you can type in the beginning of an address and it will populate.
