You'll get a copy of your own message but the list won't receive it the way the server is configured.

I was told that in theory that should not work, but it did the first time I tried it. I prefer that approach because I can choose which emails are copied to my inbox. If you want a copy, edit the settings for the gmail account in your email client. In the User name field Which is just before the password field, that reads < emailAddress>@gmail.com, type the word recent followed by a : (colon, i.e. recent:<emailAddress>@gmail.com. You will then receive a copy of every email you send through that account. I don't know if the copy means that your message got to the recipient, or just to the gmail server. But you can check the list archives to make sure if your message got there or not. -----Original Message----- From: JAWS-Users-List [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Tim Ford Sent: Saturday, January 31, 2015 03:31 To: [email protected] Subject: [JAWS-Users] Seeing my posts to the list I would like to have my own posts to this list show up in my inbox along with the emails sent by others. I do not recall how to change that. Can the moderator describe the steps on how to do that? I assume there is a way. It is not uncommon for a message to go un-answered from time to time, and someone may be looking for an answer if they don't have it. You can always re-post your question. Richard Q.
