Hi Mike,
Yes I looked in recycle bin to see if the messages were their and they
were so I pressed empty recycle bin and the message popped up.
and I pressed no not to stop the transfer but the message would not go
away so I pressed no again and I noticed the progress bar but jaws was
not reading the percentage so I switched back to the recycle bin and all
the items were still their so I went ahead and emptied it and then went
back to the message and pressed no and the message finally went away.

You will get this message right after selecting "Empty Recycle Bin". Did
you open the Recycle Bin to see if all of the files that you had moved
were there?
If the transfer had not completed, then you will see this message.

shouldn't it have come up before I emptied the recycle bin?

Hi Anna,
You can get this message if you have just started a transfer of files
from one place to another on your computer, especially if you have sent
them to the
recycle bin, and then you try to empty the bin before the transfer has
completed. Everything that you were moving will be canceled , so you
should wait
until the transfer has completed to empty the recycle bin.
