Hello, With the latest release of JAWS 16, on my Windows 7 machine, in Outlook 2010, JAWS no longer automatically reads the window titles when moving from one folder to another. This is a change with this newest release of JAWS.
Here's my statement to JAWS Support and their reply. "I've just installed JAWS Version 16.0.2136 on my Windows 7 machine. In outlook 2010, JAWS no longer reads the title of a new folder window when changing from one folder to another." "Thank you for contacting Freedom Scientific technical Support. If you perform the insert+t command or the insert+end key command, this reads the title of the window. If I can be of any additional assistance to you, feel free to email me back. Be sure to include all previous correspondence pertaining to this matter when replying to this message so that we might better assist you." This was from a support person who has been with Freedom Scientific Support for many years. I've got the same problem on both my work and personal laptops. The only difference is that I am running Windows7. I hope this is a jaws issue, but if it isn't, I'll contact Microsoft. When I open an email, it starts reading at the end of the message. I can arrow up to the top and read it that way,, but that's annoying. I have outlook to read automatically, but it sure isn't doing that. I have outlook 2010, of course, 'W8.1 and jaws 16. Is there a fix for this problem?
