Another little trick to get things going is to press the insert 10 for
list of active programs and enter on IE and all should work again.

I am also facing the same problem. In my case, it is not only internet
explorer but also firefox is getting hanged on cirtain websites while
working with jaws 16. However I don't face any of such problem if I
use another screenreader.

I am using W7, outlook 2010 and latest jaws and I am having a problem

is very annoying. Jaws will often tell me that internet explorer has
stopped working. When this happens I still have jaws but all navagation
stops working. Jaws tells me to press Alt "N" and I do this but nothing
happens and often I have to reboot but sometimes if I fumble around long

if I uninstall IE11 will my browser go back to IE 10? I have been
