Hi.
I think the trick would be to restore IE back to factory defaults, and
try and ensure you aren't using any unnecessary add-ons.

Ted and Others,
Yes, I will add some funding to that reward, as well. Exactly the type of
symptoms that occur on my machine almost daily when browsing web sites. I
usually launch NVDA, launch Windows Task Manager, go to the processes page,
and kill the JFW.EXE process to get back to work quickly. But even NVDA is
slow to start when things are in Valium mode.

How about when the error brings everything to a halt, and the highlight
moves slowly and randomly from program to program. You're told no window is
active. If you can get me out of that one quickly and with minimal damage,
I'll owe you big time!

Another little trick to get things going is to press the insert 10 for list
of active programs and enter on IE and all should work again.

Fred, apply one trick when ever your internet explorer hits your
system. It always worked for me, just press windows+u, it will open
ease of access center. But don't do anything here, as soon as u will
press windows +u, jaws will start to speek and internet page will be
fully loaded!

I am also facing the same problem. In my case, it is not only
internet explorer but also firefox is getting hanged on cirtain
websites while working with jaws 16. However I don't face any of such
problem if I use another screenreader.

Try restarting Jaws with Windows-Insert-F4 or closing IE11 and

I am using W7, outlook 2010 and latest jaws and I am having a
problem that is very annoying. Jaws will often tell me that
internet explorer has stopped working. When this happens I still
have jaws but all navagation
stops working. Jaws tells me to press Alt "N" and I do this but
nothing
happens and often I have to reboot but sometimes if I fumble around
long enough it will start working again.I am using IE 11and I would
like to know if I uninstall IE11 will my browser go back to IE 10?
I have been thinking of trying this but I do not want to get myself
into a bigger mess than I am
already in . I did a system restore but it didn't help. . Any
suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
