Using the steps below, it doesn't appear to work in windows 8.1. Anyone?
Does CCleaner clear the run dialog box? In the Start menu tab and in the Privacy area uncheck the 'Store and display recently opened programs in the Start menu' option. If you need to clear recently opened files, uncheck 'Store and display recently opened items in the Start menu and the taskbar' so to clear the run dialog history, you uncheck the box which reads; Store and display recently opened programs in the Start menu Apply & okay your changes Note: I forgot to mention, if you want to re-build your run dialog history, you'll need to go back and re-check the box, Store and display recently opened programs in the Start menu Take care.
