Hi Dave,

Thank you very much but, if it weren't for this list & lists' like this
using a computer would surely be a lot more difficult. Thank you David,
Rick, & Bob for giving us this forum. Oh yeah, thank you Freedom Scientific
for giving us a screen reading program that allows us to achieve computer
accessibility, & blame whenever we can't figure something out! LOL hahaha
hahaha LOL
Take care.

Mike,

You are one hell of a good resource on this list. Thanks for offering a
simple solution.

Hi Steve,

Try the following to clear the Run history manually:
1. Open the 'Taskbar and Start Menu Properties' window. You can do it in two
ways:
Press the Windows Key to open the start menu, press escape to close & put
you on the start button, Right-click the Start button and select Properties
Or you can open the Start menu, select Control Panel, click Appearance and
Personalization, and then click Taskbar and Start Menu

2. In the Start menu tab and in the Privacy area uncheck the 'Store and
display recently opened programs in the Start menu' option. If you need to
clear
recently opened files, uncheck 'Store and display recently opened items in
the Start menu and the taskbar'

so to clear the run dialog history, you uncheck the box which reads;
Store and display recently opened programs in the Start menu
Apply & okay your changes
Note: I forgot to mention, if you want to re-build your run dialog history,
you'll
need to go back and re-check the box,
Store and display recently opened programs in the Start menu

Take care.

Hi All,

Does anyone know how to clear the history when you bring up the run dialog
box? Using Windows 7 64 bit and JAWS 16.
