This is a spendy way, but how about getting a skype number, along with the
skype program, and the skype recorder program.

Just give the skype number to all the important calls you have to record.

BTW, the latter is free, the former are not.

A solution which I have found helpful is to record on a digital recorder
using the speaker feature on your regular phone.
