I remember that thing. I tried every trick I could think of back when I was
doing oral history, ending up using an old-fashioned answering machine, but
those went by the board too.

I have a great little gadget from Radio Shack. It connects to the base where
the handset cord plugs in then you plug in the handset cord to this gadget. It
has another cord with a standard mini plug that you plug into the jack on your
recorder. You can record both sides of the conversation.
Mine is old so I don't think JAWS will do you any good (smile).

Since most Radio Shack stores are closing you may have to shop online.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Recording Telephone Calls

I have a cell phone that doesn't record telephone calls, and I have a land line
with voice mail. I also have a computer Windows 7, JAWS 15. I need to record
phone calls from medical personnel who call me. Can I do it from my regular
phone, somehow, or do I need to get another phone number and record from my
computer?

Recording calls in our State is legal, as long as you alert the other party
that you are recording. If this is better taken off list, please contact me at
[email protected].

Thank you!.
