Is that an OEM battery? Did it come from the manufacturer? if not, and what
it sounds like, is that the computer is not recognizing it, and probably not
charging it. You have to be very careful when purchasing new batteries and
or chargers for laptop computers because of this problem. Many companies
sell batteries that they say are compatible, and they will fit into your
computer, but they will not work. The other problem is that the computer
companies charge way, way, way too much for their replacement batteries.

You know how it goes, there's days all is rocking along fine, then other
days...
I had to replace my laptop's battery, so now in the tray, it's just stating
still "no battery detected" how can I find out what the status of it is when
it's charged?
I poked around in device mgr via control panel and found some battery info,
it gave 3 choices, but that wasn't wehere I think I needed to be.
I then tried the Power setting in control panel, didn't find it there, guess
next attempt will be a search.
