Well, I am most embarrassed. I put the dead battery in the laptop. The brand new one is right here still in it's package.

I know my face is matching my hair color right about now.
I did try the ins+shift+B and it told me, unknown battery or something like that.

I think I will go and hide till next time, grins

Thank you Mike and Jamie for trying to help!

Trish

 Subject: [JAWS-Users] Battery Status

 Hello again,

You know how it goes, there's days all is rocking along fine, then other days...

I had to replace my laptop's battery, so now in the tray, it's just stating still "no battery detected" how can I find out what the status of it is when it's charged?

I poked around in device mgr via control panel and found some battery info, it gave 3 choices, but that wasn't wehere I think I needed to be.

I then tried the Power setting in control panel, didn't find it there, guess next attempt will be a search.
