Hi Mike, I have Win 7 Pro and JAWS 16 and use Notepad. Notepad uses arrow up & down and I use the keypad for navigation as well. To highlight text I move to the left of the first letter and then hold down SHIFT and arrow right to highlight the text or hit END to highlight to the end of the line. Then I use the old WordStar CTRL + X to cut it and you know the rest. George
