Hi,

I think that jfw 17 is pretty good. I do find that sometimes when it cashes
it is a pain. The only problem is that when this happens, there is no
dialog which would allow you to send an error report to fs so they can be
aware of the crashing. I though this was the case.

Matthew

Hi all,

Have you tried the update of JAWS 17 that came out on Thursday? I am
using it and I do find it much better than the first build of 17; however,
it does cut out now and then, but it comes right back much more quickly.

Truthfully, I wish even this brief crashing would stop.

        Don

To my machine it works fine with Jaws 16 and never crashes at all.
If you are having problem with Jaws 17, why don't you try with Jaws 16!

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS 17 problem

Hi List,

I am new to this list, but I have been using JAWS for Windows since version
3.5.

Since I upgraded to JAWS 17, I am having a problem that I had when I first
installed JAWS 16 last year; that problem got fixed in the first revision of
JAWS 16.

The problem is that JAWS 17keeps crashing without warning when I am using
Outlook 2013, Internet Explorer 11 and Word 2013. Sometimes it comes right
back; other times I have to press Windows m to get JAWS back; still other
times, I have to unload JAWS with Insert F4 and then use my hot key, Control
alt j, to bring JAWS back.

I finally gave up last night and went back to JAWS
16 until this gets fixed.

Any help or insight will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Don
