Kevin,

Well I have reported it so we shall see what they say.
Regarding skipping 17 and saving your SMA for 18, you may
want to check with FS on that as I don't believe you can
skip versions.

Best,
Al

I'm using jaws 16 and windows 10 this happens to me also.
the only way I can get jaws back is just keep alt+tab until
jaws speaks again. FS is not aware of this and won't fix it
because not a lot of people have reported this. when I told
FS they just told me to upgrade to 17 to see if the problem
went away. I'm saving my SMA for jaws 18.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS 17 problem

Hi List,

I am new to this list, but I have been using JAWS for
Windows since version 3.5.

Since I upgraded to JAWS 17, I am having a problem that I
had when I first installed JAWS 16 last year; that problem
got fixed in the first revision of JAWS 16.

The problem is that JAWS 17keeps crashing without warning
when I am using Outlook 2013, Internet Explorer 11 and Word
2013. Sometimes it comes right back; other times I have to
press Windows m to get JAWS back; still other times, I have
to unload JAWS with Insert F4 and then use my hot key,
Control alt j, to bring JAWS back.

I finally gave up last night and went back to JAWS
16 until this gets fixed.

Any help or insight will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Don
