Yeah Trish,

I have both my phone and computer synced with exactly the same information. and it stays this way. Much better now.

yeah, I got into that one time too, what a nightmare! Mine was a result of
facebook.

But now, I use the cloud to keep my contacts, and do not use window's
contacts which was through iTunes.

You first have to put all the contacts you want into your IOS device, then
turn on contacts in iCloud, if you have additional IOS devices it will synce
the contacts to that device as well. When you add/remove contacts from one
device, it will be same on another.

In iTunes both on my window's laptop and my Mac, it states that contacts are
being stored/backedup on the Cloud
I still like to backup via the computer or Mac now my phone, guess it's just
a matter of preference.

Yes, you can automatically sync your WLM contacts to iCloud. I have done
this on my iPhone 5s, however, I did not like the results because all of
my
email contacts were synced with my phone contacts as well, and I had an
enormous amount of phone contacts that I didn't have phone numbers for,
only
email address. This was quite a chore to fix.

I think Outlook is the only program set up for this kind of syncing.

Does one have to use Outlook, or, can one use Windows Live Mail?

You can add your contacts to Outlook on the PC using JAWS, and you can
then
set up iCloud and your phone to automatically add the contacts to your
phone- almost instantly. It gives the security of having contacts backed
up
in iCloud, without even having to physically connect your PC and phone for
 syncing. It works wonderfully!

iCloud for window is not that accessible with jaws. Adding contacts for
your
iPhone work better if you do so from your iPhone.

 Subject: [JAWS-Users] JAWS and Icloud

 Hello listmembers,

Having recently had my Iphone stolen, I just created an Icloud account to
back up specific files and other content. I would also like to use JAWS
with
Icloud to begin developing a contacts list as filling in the contact
fields
would be quicker using JAWS, than the touch screen on my Iphone.

I noticed a few glitches with JAWS and Icloud, initially when I opened
contacts and my wife informed me that in order to add anew contact, I had
to
click on a +-sign at the bottom of the screen which didn't appear to be
 accessible using JAWS.

Are there any work-arounds or scripts for JAWS and the Icloud? If not what
are some things do be aware of.

 Best, Justin
