Yes, absolutely. I cannot tell the difference between an HDMI port and a USB
2.0 port, but I am digitally-proficient enough to easily tell the difference
between a USB 2.0 port and a USB 3.0 port. Start using your finger on all
those ports and get back to us.

And, this is my issue. I thought I had understood someone to post that they
can tell the difference between a USB 2 and a USB 3 connector by touching
it.

Many times that will be the HDMI port. Without looking I could not say with
100% certainty, however, I have been around quite a few computers with
multiple USB ports and if there is a port that looks a lot like a USB port
it is usually an HDMI port.
For example, this machine I am typing on has two USB ports and an HDMI on
the left moving from front to back. And on the right is a single USB port.
I would need to ask someone sighted which one is blue. Smile!

It could still help a person with low vision.
