Sometimes completely removing JAWS and re-installing is the only way forward.

Hey Kevin.
My brother tried your repair tips to fix our version of JAWS, but with no luck.
For some weird reason the dicitionary just will not open up.
I had posted a letter earily today to this list, but I thought that yo might
have some thoughts on how to fix the dictionary for me?
Thanks.
Ron Kolesar.

or you can just get the executable jaws version from FS which is correct for
your jaws version just run it and if jaws detects the version is already
installed it'll give you choices: modify, repair or remove

Hi,
You can run the jaws disc and select to run a repair.

Awhile back someone posted 3 ways to repair Jaws. The most helpful way for me
was the third way which was similar to the way I repaired it in older versions
where you go to a place that asked if you wanted to modify or repair. Can
someone repost the directions? I was going to open the EXE file and start the
install and try to repair it from there, but as this option isn't an option
anymore I thought I would inquire about a possible similar way to do this.
