If you followed my steps from earlier then that is all you need to do. Once
you remove your changes JAWS will automatically default back to the settings
FS has provided.

Hi David,
I followed the steps on removing the internet explorer.jsb and the internet
explorer.jss files, but now there are is nothing in the internet explorer
script. Is there anywhere on the freedom scientific site where I can get the
original internet explorer.jss file? I can't uninstall JAWS and reinstall it
because I'm at work.
Thanks,
Moop

If I might jump in here to offer a safer method. Go to the explore my

files to simply delete them. At that point the default files from FS will
take over again. The fact is a person never has much of a reason to look
in
the directory where FS has placed their default files.

Hi
If you used the JAWS Script Manager to edit and save/compile the Internet
Explorer scripts, the Script Manager saved the source file (JSS) and the
execution (JSB) files in your user JAWS settings folder instead of the
JAWS
Shared Settings folder. So you should be able to find the original
Internet
Explorer script by Freedom Scientific in the JAWS Shared Settings folder.
You can find these folders by opening the start menu, unless you're
running
Windows 8. Then navigate to All Programs, JAWS 15, Explore JAWS and then
either choose Explore User Settings or Explore Shared Settings. If you're
running Windows 8, you can follow the path "C:\ProgramData\Freedom
Scientific\JAWS\15.0\Utilities" where you will find the Explore User
Settings and Explore Shared settings. Sorry, but I don't know of an
easier
way to find the JAWS utilities folder in Windows 8. When you find the
Internet Explorer.JSS file in the Shared Settings Folder, I would open the
file's properties and make sure that the date last modified is earlier
than
when you started editing the file to be sure that it is the Freedom
Scientific original file. If the last date modified is later than when
the
file was first edited, you could run a JAWS repair to see if the original
FS
file was restored. If not, you may have to uninstall JAWS 15, including
shared settings and then reinstall it. If all else fails, you could call
FS
support for assistance.
Also if the Internet Explorer.jss file you edited had been edited and
saved
before this last update, all of the previous changes will have to be
re-entered also.

Subject: [JAWS-Users] Re-initializing scripts
Hello,
Today at work, I had to edit the internet explorer.jss script. I
unfortunately made some errors. How can I obtain the original internet
explorer.jss script that came with JAWS 15? And where would I go to
replace
the one with mistakes? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Moop

You don't have to be crazy to run a list like this, but it does help.
