Scorpio, Thanks for the suggestion but I cannot get to the file menu to save a copy. Only thing on this screen is a button that says open document button. No matter what I try to activate that control, I cannot

I believe this has to do with the Smart Screen feature, but don't quote me on that. In any case, if you do a "save as" from the file menu, then save it in your documents or downloads directory, it will negate the Smart Screen protection, and you should be able to read the document just fine. Works great opening attachments I receive via email, PDF's on my PC, etc. However, some web based PDF documents, an example are ones on my Prudential IRA site, when they get opened all I hear is an open button that I cannot do anything with. Has anyone found a way to open this type PDF document?
