Hello,
You are not going to get rid of that message, until you install windows 10
Hahahaha!.

But, you can still update your window 7 pc.

Press windows key,
Arrow to all programs submenu,
Press right arrow to open the submenu.

Press W for quick key navigation and arrow to windows update - enter.

Tab, to show all updates available - enter.

When, they populate, select with the spacebar or deselect.

Skip the windows10 update,

Then, tab to ok - enter.

Let it update, and most likely will ask for a restart, select yes -
spacebar,

HTH,
                                Jorge

Yes I had questions about my windows updates and how most of them lately
show as failed. But the problem is I can't even check for updates, because
the screen says I have a pending update so I can't even look at the updates.

And it always says "restart now," as if it's gonna force installation of 10
if I do restart. In my case it probably wouldn't install because many new
updates are showing as failed. But I wonder if I could get this windows 10
message out of updates I could try installing only the updates I want. If
anyone knows how to get this windows 10 message out of windows updates I
would very much appreciate knowing how.
