Thanks, I will try that. I just used expressburn and instructed it to
normalize 100 percent and there are still uneven sound tracks. It looks like
goldwave could do it but the options are not jaws friendly. I can not do
batch processing with special effects.

I have quite a few mp3 files and noticed that they do not all play at the
same volume. I looked around gold wave but not sure if It can make all of
them at the same level. I also have express burn. I am wondering what is
the easiest way. With express burn I could probably make a cd and have it
normalize the tracks. I would then have to extract and copy them to a thumb
drive. Probably would have to convert them back to mp3. I would perfer to
use gold wave.
