Hi Lenny, You will need to go into the properties of each file, and uncheck the box for "Read only". To get to the properties, just select a file, then press Alt + Enter to open the properties, and then use the tab key to navigate.

I brought up the folder and for the files tried to locate where to turn that off. Any suggestions? -----Original Message----- From: Rick Justice Sent: Tuesday, April 05, 2016 10:40 PM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: [JAWS-Users] equalizing volume for mp3 files Hi Lenny, Look on the Jaws-users website for MP3 Gain. I looked around gold wave but not sure if It can make all of them at the same level. I also have express burn. I am wondering what is the easiest way. With express burn I could probably make a cd and have it normalize the tracks. I would then have to extract and copy them to a thumb drive. Probably would have to convert them back to mp3. I would prefer to use gold wave. --- Please visit my web page It’s motivational, inspirational with a touch of humor There is also a very extensive resource list for the blind http://www.LennyMcHugh.com International Brotherhood of Magicians member #43990R For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/ For answers to frequently asked questions about this list visit: http://www.jaws-users.com/help/
