Thanks- this has already been done. I'm trying to get StartPage to show up in my add-ons under Tools in IE11.

So, I'm reverting to my former conclusion that it cannot be added to IE11, only to Edge. When I deleted the second one, it just disappeared but without an edit field or an 'add' button or anything helpful. Also, on the IE Search Provider page, names are used rather than URLs- Start Page is not listed and I cannot see how to add an unlisted one or what I should type to make it happen. Start Page has a link which says " Add to IE " which has not done anything on this end. I have Start Page as my home page, but Control-E still brings up Google instead. Apparently John Fitzgerald has changed his, but I cannot figure out how. The StartPage which is supposed to tell you how to do this is https://startpage.com/eng/download-startpage-plugin.html?hmb=1 but for Win10 only Edge is listed not IE11- maybe it cannot be done for IE11?
