The tech who did my hard drive installation put Trent Micro Security on this computer. When Thursday it scans for viruses, at 9 in the morning, and presents a security report results I have not been able to read it, and I can't change the time to a time when I would not be at the computer and having it stop for supposedly no reason. I can read the tabs but it seems nothing else. I very nearly removed it and opted for Windows Defender as I had Microsoft Security on Windows 7.
I also have Carbonite which he put on but frankly, I have not even tried to open or use it in the past 6 weeks. The presenter told me, after the clinic, that he uses a security suite under the name of Eset. The virus program in this package is Nod32. Does anybody have experience with the accessibility of Nod32 in particular and the suite in general? The presenter emphasized that no one program can offer complete protection from virus, Trojans, spyware and so on. Your thoughts and experiences would be appreciated. In addition to the Eset suite he said he also used Malwarebytes. It seems like a lot of stuff. Thanks, in advance, for your help.
