I believe it was easier for me to go to win10 from 8.1, because I already knew about the concept of the universal apps, and files explorer more the way it is in win10. I have always used windows 7 at work, and went all of the way from XP to windows 8.1 at home. The FS webinars can be used just as much with NVDA as with JAWS, because the concepts are the same. I learned so much from the FS web site. I do not know how I would have learned 8.1. By the time win10 came along, I was blessed enough to know two people on these lists who helped me a lot get used to win10.

Perhaps those switching from Windows 8 have an easier time than those moving
from Windows 7?

I've dabbled a bit with Windows 10 and find it somewhat different.

I'm sure in time it will grow on me.

Hi:

Those of you who are running Windows 10, what is your impression of
it? I am still running Windows 7 and get messages from Microsoft all
the time about installing Windows 10. Do you find that Windows 10 is as
easy as Windows 7?

Thanks,
