Here is what you can do. The win10 mail app does support Gmail, for example. You could import your Verizon account into a Gmail or Yahoo account that you create, and then import that Gmail or Yahoo, Hotmail, and on and on, into your win10 mail app. You can import many accounts into the win10 mail app. Just create one of those accounts, and import your Verizon emails into that account and then import that account into the win10 mail app.

This may be all well and good, but my ISP, Verizon,the largest ISP in the
country, only supports POP3 and not INAT.

I don't know, but in any case, IMAP will give you better results than POP3
and
should be supported by any good mail server.

I'm sure Windows 10 Mail supports IMAP, as everyone does.
