Not sure how many old-timers there on the list. I was just thinking about my
first openbook from Arkenstone. It had a dedicated IBm 286 10 meg computer
with a Hp Scanner. For my first jaws for dos it was on a Unisys 386. The
openbook system was only $5,000 and the Unisys 386 was only $10,000. This
was around 1986. Imagine what computer and software you could purchase
today for $15,000. Look how far jaws for windows has come . I have the 47th
copy released to the public.
