Hi Jaws Users list. I am finally up and running again. I am not sure what happened to my computer. I was running the anniversary update from Thursday to Sunday with no issues. I made many audio tutorials and did many other things on my computer. It was running fantastic. Now my wife was out of town, and I restarted it Sunday evening. The windows sounds started to come on, then cut off. My tower just ran and ran. I did a hard shut down many times. Same thing. On Monday, I called the Microsoft support line. The technician made a removable bootable flash drive on my laptop. After finally figuring out how to go to the bios of my Acer computer. I finally figured out how to put the bootable drive first in the list, but when it restarted, we were on a choose a keyboard screen, but no mouse or keyboard. Did it several more times, same result or just a blank screen. So when my wife got home on Tuesday evening. We tried the bios way again with the same result. My Acer I found out has an f12 menu you can boot into. Must have sited help. After locating the bootable flash drive, tried it again. Same result, the mouse and the keyboard would not work. Tried it a different way, just blank screens. Finally, I pressed the power button, tapped the f12 key many times, looked for the repair menu, found the system restore, my computer was restored to Thursday with the new anniversary update installed. Jaws 17 was still acting funny, so I uninstalled it and installed it again. I verified my McAfee anti-virus program. I ran the hardware troubleshooter. I fixed all the issues on my C: drive from all the forced shut downs. Now finally everything seems to be running OK again. Waiting on a call from Microsoft to determine what caused the issues on my W-10 computer in the first place.

Hi Everyone, Jim is having trouble with his pc. There were corrupts W10 anniversary installation files, so I need to boot up from a removable flash drive. I need to go to the bios in my pc, however when I go there the mouse does not work but only the keyboard. With the keyboard I am able to get to the boot up screen. The removable flash drive is the fourth item in the list. How do I move it up to the first item using just the keyboard in the bios. Is there a way to go into safe mode to boot up with a bootable flash drive? Any help on this will be greatly appreciated.
