Hi Jim,

Or, you could temporarily make Firefox your default browser & click on the 
desktop shortcut for that particular website.

Thanks Mike.  I'll give it a shot.  It also occurred to me to create the
desktop icon with IE and switch the default browser to FF so that
clicking on it brings up the FF version, which for this one site is
preferable to IE.
