Hey, Mike Fluing over the cukoo's nest is no fun! As Christopher Robin
may have said, Get wellson.
Backson with a solution to the dt icon when I get around to making FF my
default browser. The hang up is the vastly different way FF handles
bookmarkes over IE's favorites.
Happy All Year!

Damn, what an idiot! LOL Excuse my last reply! I misread your last post,
but anyways I've been fighting the flu, & have a hard time concentrating.

Thanks Mike. I'll give it a shot. It also occurred to me to create the
desktop icon with IE and switch the default browser to FF so that
clicking on it brings up the FF version, which for this one site is
preferable to IE.
Keep on truckin'

Hi Jim,
The only way I was able to create a website desktop shortcut was doing the
following:
1. With the website of choice open press, Control + S, to open the save
dialogue.
2. Tab 1 time into a list of save options, & arrow up / down to the option
you want.
3. Tab to the save button & press enter, or press, Alt + S.
This will save a shortcut to the folder, or wherever your saved downloads
go
to by default. Now copy it or cut it from the downloads location, & paste
it to your desktop.
I'm not going to swear that the steps above will work every time because
they sure as hell didn't for me! LOL But, other than saving as a
Bookmark
& copy / pasting this was the best I could do.
Take care.

How do I create a desktop shortcut for a web site with Firefox v50?
Running Win7, JAWS 17 latest. Help indicates only mouse maneuver.
